ABOUT THE CASE: The suitcase features two substantial metal catches and an expanding gusset, allowing the case to accommodate a little more when packed. Spartan luggage was widely sold in Britain during the mid-20th century, with examples dating from the 1950s and 1960s and expanding cases appearing in British retail catalogues by the 1970s.

Perfect for adding a touch of nostalgia to your travels or as a stylish addition to your home.

ITEM CONDITION: Externally, the case has age related wear & tear as expected for an item of this age, but it is still strong and complete. The underside has a little more wear. The catches still open & close, as well as expand. Internally, the lining and compartments is whole and complete; no rips or tears.
