Large Ladderax Magazine Shelf and 2 Support Bars
Simple yet stylish, LAdderax is a mid century modern style “must have”. Designed in the 1960’s by Robert Heal, it’s versatility in the contemporary home makes it a design style icon.
This teak magazine shelf, whilst not quite rare, is definitely less common than the standard flat shelves. The 4 slots on the back enable the shelf to be placed at an angle and the handy lip supports magazines, books or LP’s – Or indeed anything flat that you’d like to display.
ITEM CONDITION: Shelf is in good condition with age related wear & tear in the form of light marks and scratches. There is 1 small “dink” in the upper side of the shelf. Please see photo. Support bars also show signs of age related wear & tear, but they still retain their gold colour and are in good strong condition. The recessed fixing for securing clamp is included on the back.
The shelf has been cleaned & polished with Briwax, whilst the support bars have simply been cleaned with a damp cloth and then a gentle interior wax.
DIMENSIONS: Height – 2cm. Width – 89cm. Depth – 42cm.
This vintage item shows signs of age through scuffs & faded finishes. Please see item description and images for further details.
