Returning Your Item.
If you have changed your mind about a purchase, we are quite happy to have the item sent back to us for a full refund. However, please be aware that the buyer is responsible for the return postage cost and the safe packing of the item prior to sending – we cannot give refunds on returns that are delivered damaged due to poor packaging.
Please start a return by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org and stating why you want to return your item – we can then authorise the return and send you the returns details.
Damaged in Transit.
If your item arrives damaged, it will be because of excessively poor handling by the courier – we always pack all of our goods exceedingly well – In order to give you a full refund, we will need to claim off the courier ourselves, so will require images and details of the damage and if possible the packaging. Please email us that information on email@example.com.
Items returned because they are incorrect.
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and pay your costs of returning it to us by refunding your return postage costs.
Item Not As Described.
Please be aware that all of our items are either vintage or antique and as such will have defects, damage and wear and tear. We try to accurately describe the item, but if you feel that we haven’t been accurate enough, then please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss further.
We will check all items returned as damaged or defective. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item(s) and to recover our fees and expenses from you.
In all cases, please notify us within 2 working days of delivery.
When you return goods, please ensure that you obtain proof of postage, as you are responsible for the goods until they reach us.
Goods must be returned with the original packaging.
We recommend returning goods using Recorded or Special Delivery in the UK. Signatures are always recommended when goods are returned.
Returned Item(s) Lost in Transit
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the items to us, we recommend sending the packages by Special Delivery and ensuring you have adequate cover in place with the Post Office.
