A Vintage Brown Suitcase - A Big Case for a Big Statement.
ABOUT THE CASE: With its true vintage appeal, this suitcase is sure to make a big statement, whether used as a decorative accent or for practical storage purposes, this suitcase is a timeless and classic addition to any collection. The hard casing gives the item durability, whilst its size means there is plenty of storage/packing space.
The case has some initials, a date and an arrow stencilled on the inside of the lid – I’m assuming that it’s an attempt to replicate a war arrow and present it as a demob case.
ITEM CONDITION: As is usual, the underside of this case has had a bit of rough handling and displays some scuffs and scrapes. One of the re-enforced corners is missing and another is cracked. the plating on the catches has chipped off in places. The rest of the suitcase displays expected age related wear, except for the handle which is in really good condition. Internally, the case is lovely, with the cloth lining clean and complete .
