First Editions, First Printing Except Volume 3 is a 1923 First Edition Second Printing (1927).

Both practical and decorative, these books are a real gem, with their textures soft covers, gilt writing and outline of a hammer on the spine. Paged tipped on 3 sides in gold – slightly rubbed in places.

CONDITION: The binding is still tight on all 4 copies. 1 cover has a crease in the middle with chips to the inside cover. The pages, aside from slight age related browning, are in very good condition overall, with slight staining on a corner of 1 book.

Gilt titles are in various condition from good to rubbed. Spines are creased to a few. Some bumping to corners and shelf wear to edges.  A name and address inscribed on front cover of Volume 2.
