Vintage Danish Coffee Table – Possibly Designed by Johannes Andersen. Teak Wood Mid Century Danish Retro Furniture.

This beautiful table has elegance and beauty combined & is typical of vintage Danish furniture. Set on 4 tapered legs, the table features a large top, with a stylish and graceful floating shelf.

Produced in the 1960’s by PBS Denmark, I have seen the same table listed as a Johannes Andersen, but I have not found definitive proof that it is his design. The table certainly carries his trademarks with its round corners and edges and forward thinking design.

ITEM CONDITION: When this table came to us, the top was in a very unloved state – we have lightly sanded it and given it a good few coats of Danish Oil. Although smooth and with a lightly reflective matt surface, the table still retains minor age related wear, including a small scratch, although this is not very deep – Please see the images for further details.

As expected, the legs have the relevant scuffs, but the floating shelf is in very good condition.

DIMENSIONS: The table measures 150 x 60cm and is 45cm high.
