ABOUT THE BOOKS: With publishing dates ranging from 1898 to 1797, most of these books are antique, with imposing & decorative spines that stand out. Most of the books are quite heavy, so the display certainly makes a statement.
The collection features 2 sets of 2 volumes, which adds a cohesive look to the display. Some lighter greens freshen it up a little, whilst 1 book, published in 1898 has a hugely decorative spine.
CONDITION: As to be expected with their age, some of these books show handling & wear, especially on the spines. Also, some of the front boards have been marked over the years. Shelf wear, bumping and rubbing is present throughought, with foxing in most. Some have hand written inscriptions and book plates and are ex library.
