A Full Set of 5 Vintage Air France Flight Attendants Luggage. C1960’s. Consisting of 3 Nesting Suitcases, a Hatbox and Small Washbag – The Vanity Case, Hatbox & Washbag Appear to be Unused.
In an imitation blue leather, with an interior of ivory quilted plastic, this set is a lovely example of 1960’s travel sets. The aluminium trim and chrome catches add some style to the suitcases. The colour reflects the Air France Corporate colours at the time. Solid plastic handles give the cases a sturdiness.

LARGE CASE: This has been used the most and externally has the expected scuffs and knocks, with a few holes in the leatherette. The chrome catches are tarnished and the hinges show wear as well. Internally, it’s clean & well looked after. 41cm high, 60cm wide and 16cm high.
MEDIUM CASE: A few age related marks, with a small crease in the back, which has pulled 1 side slightly out of alignment. However case still closes well and the catches are clean and bright. Internally, no wear or tear and very clean. 39cm high, 51cm wide and 15cm high.
SMALL/VANITY CASE: This case does not look to have been used and is practically immaculate, except for a few very minor external marks. Inside is in excellent condition. 32cm high, 42cm wide and 14cm high.
HAT BOX: Again, this appears to be unused. Slight crease in leatherette near the front and the handle has some twists and dinks where something has been on to of it. Internally immaculate. 32cm long, 25cm wide and 11.5cm high.
WASHBAG: Again, never been used and still as clean as the day it was made. 22cm wide, 7cm deep & 11cm high.
