Large & Vibrant Shakyamuni Buddha Statue – Stands on a Lotus Flower Bed and Holds Flower in Cupped Hands.

Standing at 1 metre tall, this large, heavy statue has a fantastic amount of aging & patina.

The colours of the robe and gold detailing are still quite vivid. The statue is hand carved from solid wood and looks to be hand painted also. At its widest point, the statue measures 33cm.

CONDITION: This item is very unique and is also quite old, so shows the expected age related wear – Please see item images, as there a few minor places where paint has chipped. This does not detract from the statue’s striking beauty, but attention needs to be drawn to the condition.
