ABOUT THE CASE: This large 1960’s American Tourister suitcase in mustard yellow/gold is a true vintage piece that exudes retro style. The case features the swing action locks, as well as 2 additional catches and the palm guard handle. Additionally, the American Tourister luggage tag is in good condition and there is a travel label from Quantas. The hard casing and original design make it a standout piece for any collector of vintage luggage. Ideal for those looking to make a statement while on the road, or simply a striking storage piece for the home.

ITEM CONDITION: Overall, the case is whole & complete, with the expected age (and travel) related wear. The main exterior points to mention are a few scrapes on 1 corner, a small rip in the outer lining in another corner and a section where the stitching is loose on the rubbing bars. Internally, the case is clean and dry, although there has been something spilled at 1 time – The mark on the lining is clean – no nastily stains. At some time the area around the hinges has got damp, which rusted a few sections, which fed onto the lining. 1 of the smaller catches doesn’t engage very well with the top clip.
