Small Metal Trunk.

A Smaller Style Domed Top Vintage Metal Trunk That Still Retains its Brown Original Colouring & Displays an Especially Desirable Aged Patina. A Really Sweet Little Trunk

The exterior has a 2 tone painted grain finish and 2 side handles. The internal part is a particularly lovely deep red colour. A lovely piece that would make a fantastic log store or blanket box – the clean interior means that it’s suitable for many uses. Its smaller size makes it ideal for more compact rooms. We have used the trunk to display vintage books and accessories, the item would also be a perfect statement coffee table.

Without a doubt, a great item that has seen some amount of wear & tear over the years, which adds to its charm – Lovely patina and ageing, with scuffs and dings as well as worn areas from its years of service & travels. Please note, the brass catch is no longer in place.

The side handles still work well and the domed top has rivets that are higher than the lid.

CONDITION: The trunk has surface wear & tear through out and also areas where the original paint has worn off. It has also been dented on the top, with the lid slightly out of line. However, the lid does close. The bottom of the trunk has seen a fair amount of wear over the years. The brass catch is missing – Please look at the images carefully.
